Sheriff Sales Only - Not including
Tax Foreclosed Property
Sheriff Real Estate Foreclosure Sales are normally
conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.
in the lobby of the Administration Building, 508 New York Avenue,
Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Successful bidders are required to have ten
percent (10%) of their bid in cash, money order, or certified
check at the time of the sale made payable to the "Clerk
of Courts." The balance is due at the time of confirmation.
The successful bidder is also responsible for all legal liens,
encumbrances, and unpaid real estate taxes that may survive the
sale.
All properties are sold "as is"
and are not available for viewing as part of the sale process.
Typically, the foreclosing creditor or its attorney
will put in the first bid based on the balance due on the debt.
Anyone else can then bid on the property. The property goes to
the highest bidder. All sales are subject to confirmation by the
Court.
The Sheriff's Department does not have any
specific information regarding the condition of a property being
sold. Persons interested in obtaining further information about
a property are encouraged to contact the attorney or lender who
is foreclosing on the property.
Sales are subject to cancellation at any time
without notice.
