Recorded documents will be returned to sender or designee.
Deeds, Mortgages, Land Contracts, Satisfactions, Lis Pendens, etc. and
Miscellaneous Documents entitled to be recorded in the Register
of Deeds Office. Price for first page is $11.00
and each additional page will be $2.00
per document.
Note: Maximum sheet size is 8 1/2" x 14". One side
of a sheet constitutes a page and any riders attached are considered
another page.
Copies are $2.00 for
the first page and $1.00 for
each additional page per document. A fee of $1.00 per document
is added if certification is requested.
Probate Transferring Joint Property through Register of
Deeds Office: $25.00. Assistance
in completing a Transfer of Joint Property (HTI10) is available.
Appointments may be scheduled for Thursdays, 2:00-4:00 p.m or special arrangements can be made.
Lis Pendens: Effective January 1, 2009, Lis Pendens will be recorded instead of filed; standard document format rules apply. Rental Properties: We validate weatherization stipulations and waivers at the cost of $20.00.
