STATEMENT: The mission of the Finance Department is
to effectively and efficiently safeguard and account for the Countyıs
resources, to provide financial based services that offer all County
departments the ability to deliver their programs and offer financial
support to the organization and community.

Q: How does my Company get
the opportunity to do business with Sheboygan County? A: While a formal "Bidders List" is currently in the development
stage, it does not exist as yet. If you would like to be added
to the list, please notify the Purchasing Agent.
Q: What is the policy regarding the use of "local " Vendors,
in an effort to keep tax dollars within the County? A: While emphasis is placed on using local vendors, the
laws governing competitive sealed bidding are very clear, and
are adhered to very strictly.
Q: Where are requests for bid and requests for Proposals
found? A: Per State Law, Requests for Bid and Requests for Proposal
are published two times in the official County newspaper-The Plymouth
Review.
Q. Where can specifications for such projects be obtained? A: Specifications can be obtained from The Purchasing Agent
or the County Clerk.
