| Museum
complex includes stately brick building reflecting Judge David Taylor’s
career and the era of 1850-1900; the 1864 Weinhold Family Homestead;
the 1890’s Schuchardt Barn with rural agricultural displays;
and the 1867 Bodenstab Cheese Factory with early commercial cheese
making implements. A recent addition of 20,000 sq. ft features seasonal
displays, temporary exhibits, classroom, and the museum store. Changing
exhibits include Indian history, ice harvesting, maritime, circus,
local sports, medical pharmaceutical, early agricultural and related
trades. |

Museum will be open for the 2010 Season from April 1st through October 30th.
Hours during the season are 10 AM to 5 PM,
Monday through Friday.
Tours leave the main building at 11 a.m. and
1 and 3 p.m.
Closed Saturday and Sunday except for special events.
