SUMMARY of RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sheboygan County Information Systems
Department is an internal service department, which provides assistance
to departments within the county in the area of automation. The
role of the department has expanded and grown as the need for information
in various formats has increased and technology has advanced. The
department has matured into a management information system center
addressing issues in establishing support help desks, assisting
end users with development of client/server applications, data quality
control, web development, digitized mapping, computer security and
contingency planning.
The Department also provides courier services to operational sites within Sheboygan County. |
