What is Important to know about completing the application?
- It is important to follow all instructions on the application.
- To have a complete application, all pages must be returned. This includes any pages that do not apply or you choose not to complete.
- All blanks on the application must be filled out completely. "See Resume" responses are not acceptable and will not be processed.

Where do I
submit or turn in my application for employment?
- The County applications must be postmarked or turned into the Human Resources Department or State Job Center in Sheboygan no later than the day of the deadline.
- A deadline date is provided with each vacancy.

Can I attach a resumé or cover letter?
- Yes, you may attach a resumé and cover letter
to the application
- A resumé is not a substitute for an application

Can I apply for more than one job at
a time?
- Yes, you can apply for more than one job at a time.
- You must provide a completed application for each job that you are applying for.
- The Human Resources Department will not make copies of the application.
- If you mail your application with more than one job listed, your application will be placed in the recruitment for the job listed first.

I missed the deadline, can I still apply?
- As with any position, once the deadline has passed, no applications will be accepted.

How long do you keep my application?
- We do not keep applications on file.
- If you apply for an open position, that application stays with that particular position.
- Sheboygan County will not pull a previous application for a new position.
