Meeting scheduled for WIS 32 intersection in Sheboygan Falls
Roundabout planned for WIS 32 and Happy Lane:
Description: (Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) northeast region office in Green Bay is announcing a public information meeting has been scheduled for the reconstruction of WIS 32/Happy Lane intersection in Sheboygan Falls as a roundabout. It is being held Wednesday, February 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sheboygan Falls City Hall, 375 Buffalo Street, Sheboygan Falls, WI. A short presentation will be made at 5:15 p.m.
The preferred design being considered is a single-lane roundabout. Additional enhancements include improving overall intersection safety, capacity, and drainage while providing bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. Construction is scheduled for 2015.
The meeting is being held as an open house. All persons interested in the project are encouraged to attend, learn about the project, and provide input on the proposed design for the intersection improvements. Anyone with a concern for, or knowledge of, historical or archaeological resources, drainage problems, or environmental issues such as hazardous waste and underground storage tanks are also encouraged to attend this meeting and provide information to WisDOT staff.
The Sheboygan Falls City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Citizens who are hearing-impaired and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Paul Brauer at least three working days prior to the meeting.
